F Padmore commented on the developments at the school and plans to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its foundation. He paid tribute to the work of Miss Burstall.
Miss Burstall commented on the development of the school, she criticised the reliance in education on exams and the tendency of girls in Manchester to remain there instead of going abroad.
