Also includes the following comment: "The German political situation which is so uncertain caused a little anxiety and in order to make certain that nothing untoward might interfere with the party the passports have received visas for Denmark. In case of necessity, therefore, the party will be able to return through that country if the situation demands it."

Report on the problem of how much money girls visiting an international summer camp in Germany should take with them. Includes the comment: "The German girls are poor to a degree which is perhaps difficult even for hard hit English parents to realise. As a circular letter to the parents of the English girls puts it, It is to be remembered that the girls will be the guests of a country suffering from a very acute and prolonged economic depression and individual pocket money should therefore be limited to a sum sufficiently modest to cause no heart burnings and embarrassment in the minds of girls less fortunately situated."
