Dexcription of Founders' Day on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the school. Includes a note that Miss F W Harrison, aged 88 and an old girl of the school, sent about 800 sprays of ivy from her garden for the ceremony. The guest speaker was Dr W D L Greer, Bishop of Manchester. He commented that education could have a positive as well as a destructive purpose and he advised the girls not to be selfish in their choice of career.
