Prof Tout retired from the chairmanship of the governing body at the end of the summer term 1920. The resolution passed by the governors thanking him is quoted. The new chairman of the governors is F A Padmore. The resolution passed by the governors congratulating Sir Edward Donner "on entering his 81st year" and thanking him for his service to the school is quoted.
Miss Goodall has been appointed the first woman Inspector of Continuation Schools under the Board of Education.
