Report

F Padmore has been ill and unable to attend Governors' meetings.

 

Miss Frances Harrison has retired. She has been associated with the school for fifty one years, as one of the school's first pupils, then a mistress and finally Mistress [sic] of the Junior School.

Irene Sutcliffe has been awarded the Rosalind, Lady Carlisle Scholarship at Girton College.

 

The governors have instituted a MacNicol Scholarship [details given] with money left by the late Miss Katharine Lowndes.  

 

The response to the appeal has been disappointing but the playing fields and netball courts have been improved.
