The school has completed a full session in its new accommodation. Numbers are increasing. Another house has been acquired at Central Rd. In the Junior School House central heating and a fire staircase have been installed and in the Middle School House gas radiators and improved air raid shelters have been installed.
Thanks to the managers of St Aiden's Presbyterian Church, the governors of Withington School and Mr Behrens for their help.
Founders' Day was held at the Grosvenor Presbyterian Church and the speaker was Rev A S Hutchinson. There was an Open Day and a Junior and Middle School concert at which Mrs T Young presented certificates and prizes.

The guides and cadets meet regularly under the leadership of Miss Pettigrew and Miss Brassington. They collected nearly half a ton of paper in a paper salvage campaign.
With the co-operation of some members of staff a Didsbury Committee was set up to form a local unit of the Women?s Junior Air Corps.
In October girls went potato picking "on municipal fields.... Although somewhat disintegrating to school work and discipline" it was a useful exercise in citizenship. Leavers were invited to visit the Council Chamber at the invitation of the Mayor. The School War Savings Group fund has £2,468 5s.

An Old Girls' Federation meeting was held in July at which the new president, Miss Harrison was welcomed.
