Miss Scott has paid for the restoration of the school hymn board which was originally given in memory of Eileen Nutter and which was damaged in the bombing in 1940.
Mrs Innes [nee Ferguson] has presented a silver cup "for general excellence in games and gymnastics in the Sixth Form." Miss D Pilkington provided the "beautiful tiled fireplaces" [sic] for the Head Mistresses' room.
An anonymous donor has given an oak table for the platform in the hall. It was presented in memory of Sara Burstall and was designed and made by W Norris. It matches the chair which was presented by Dr Clarke.
