Comment from the Editor [unidentified], now an old girl, about the lack of support for the Magazine. Only about 12 people regularly sent in material for publication, a Christmas edition could not be issued because there were not enough articles, there is no VI Form editor and there are not enough representatives on the Magazine Committee.

The name was changed from Old Pupils' Association to Old Girls' Association after Miss Harrison said that they had always prided themselves on being known as High School girls.

A picnic was planned for June.

Amy Mullock achieved the highest mark in England in maths among junior girls.

All those who achieved first and second class junior honours in the Manchester centre were from Manchester High School.
