Debate held [details given]: "We are more matter-of-fact than our great grandmothers were." Proposed by Agnes Coombs, oppose by Dorothy Cornish. "Very little debate followed." Other speakers were Miss M�Croben, Miss Gaffron, Annie Truscott, Miss Dolby, Miss Dendy, Annie Leach, Maud Allison. Motion carried.

Debate held [details given]: "Fashion should not be made the prevailing guide to dress." Proposed by Emily Baker, opposed by Miss Eves. There was "animated debate." School News

Edith Lang has resigned as Old Girls' Editor of the Magazine.

Edith Lang sang at the Halle concert.

 

Old Girls' Association

At the Winter meeting there was a "fair muster" of members.

Miss Bulley gave a lecture on Schumann.

There was a concert at which a choir of old girls sang. Other performers were Hilda Hughes, Alice Crompton, Edith Kelly, Maud Kelly, Eva Cohen.
