The first of a series of monthly social evenings has been held attended by Miss Cheetham who gave a reading. Music was provided by Adeline Allison, May Burnet, Winny Burnet, Miss Simons, Miss Harrison.
Miss Simons has replaced Miss Rogers [m. Mrs Watson] who left last term.
At a concert at the botanical gardens one of the soloists was A. M. Lamb.
