The responsibility for compiling the Magazine has been transferred to three members of the Senior VI who have been co-opted to the Magazine Committee.
The new biology lab and cookery school have been opened. The cookery school has "white brick walls, gas stoves and [a] lift."

Joint Debate at the Manchester Grammar School
Thirty girls with Miss Burstall, Miss Lea and Miss Coignou went to Manchester Grammar School for a debate with the boys. They were welcomed by the High Master, Mr Paton and shown round the school [details given].
The debate was "We are better than our forefathers." Proposed by B I Macalpine [Manchester Grammar School], opposed by Lucy Baynes.
Other speakers were Dora Royle, A Kirk, G H D Ascoli, Dorothy Lamb, E Walker, J H Doughty, Miss Lea.
The motion was carried.

The President has had to leave Manchester and Mrs Tout was elected in her place.

The Secretary resigned and was replaced by E Mack.

Miss Day sent a message and evergreens for a meeting.
