Annual Meeting in the Free Trade Hall
Edward Donner presided. He regretted the death of Mr Darbishire, referred to the removal of the Pendleton School to more spacious premises and the increase in numbers at Manchester High School.
Miss Burstall stressed the importance of the home in instilling discipline.
The Bishop of Manchester gave the address, he said that the future of education now lay with large high schools.
