The school regrets the death of Edward VII.
A Gymnastic Corps has been set up of which two girls in each form are members. Miss Coignou is leaving to become a School Inspector in Yorkshire. Miss Adamson, Miss Jones and Miss Dendy have returned from the term's leave in Italy. Miss Leach, Miss Moakes and Miss Moore should return by September.

Prof Tout was in the chair and he spoke of the prosperity of the school as evidenced by its increasing numbers.
The guest speaker's speech is given verbatim. Prof M E Sadler spoke of the history of the school and the climate in which it had been established. He named several women who had been great in their times, eg Queen Victoria, Florence Nightingale and Mary Wolstencraft.
Mr Moodie gave a vote of thanks and it was seconded by Lady Schwann.
