On a gloomy afternoon in November we can play until we can no longer see the ball and then we can turn on our lights and change and have tea in a blaze of illumination. Two wonderful geysers supply hot water for washing and tea making respectively. There are gas fires.....and there is yellow and black china and a beautiful yellow flower bowl given to us by Mrs Young in which we proudly display yellow flowers when such are in season." There are regular practices for old girls [details given]. At the opening there was a hockey match between the School XI and on Old Girls team, the school team won "in no uncertain manner."
