From Dorothea Beale to the Manchester Association for Promoting the Education of Women giving advice on how to establish a school in the light of her experiences at Cheltenham Ladies' College. She gives detailed advice about ensuring the financial viability of a girls' school and refers to the experiences of Queen's College, Camden School, Bedford High School and Guernsey High School. She also expresses her opposition to entering girls for public examinations.
