The admission of Ada Kirkham to the Preparatory School although she is over 11.

An amendment to the new constitution.

The sub - committee's recommendations on exams were adopted and exams would be held in July instead of December, they would be conducted by the Cambridge Syndicate and only the 6 upper forms of the High School and 2 highest forms in the Preparatory School would be examined this year.

The difficulties caused by the timing of the drawing exam.

The invitation to Mr A G Oakley, Senior Inspector of Schools for the Northern District to join the Committee and to Mr Behrens and Mr Henry Gaddum to resume their membership.

Rejection of the invitation by the Committee of the Congress on Domestic Economy that the school contribute examples of needlework to a forthcoming exhibition in Manchester.

The Manchester School Board's decision to pay the full school fee for their Exhibitioners who enter the school over the age of 14. Transcriptions of the letters of the Secretary of the Committee and the Clerk of the School Board are included in the minutes.

The appointment of Miss Kruse.

The resignations of Miss Lane and Miss Vyner. A sub - committee of Mr Oakley, Prof Wilkins and Mrs Roby to confer with Miss Day about appointing successors.

Since the exams are now to be held in July, the school year will also end in July instead of December.

Leonard Tatham to join the Building Committee.

The withdrawal of the application of Miss Shuckburgh and the appointment of Miss Adamson and Miss Smith. Includes details of their qualifications and salaries.

A teacher's salary will be that agreed with the Committee for the first year provided the teacher is "the holder of a certificate satisfactory to the Committee." After one year the salary would be raised by £10 pa until the sum of £120 is reached for an assistant teacher or £140 for a teacher who undertakes "higher teaching." The increases are subject to the Headmistress's approval and she may recommend higher increases and a higher limit.

If candidates for a higher teaching post with equal qualifications apply for a post, a candidate already teaching in the school will be preferred.

An increase in the number of pupils.

The places of pupils absent for a term or half a term will be kept for them.

Accounts will be presented in July.

The publication of a school magazine is not a matter for the Committee to deal with.
