Plans submitted by the Building Sub - Committee. These are as follows:

the new school should accommodate 350 - 400 girls in the High School and 100 - 150 girls in the Preparatory School;

the premises and plans of North London Collegiate School were examined with guidance from Miss Buss, also those of Dr Barnard's School Architecture and the Mr Johonnot School Houses in America and the "ecole mong" in Paris;

estimates for building ranged from £16,000 to £25,000.

Plans of the basement, the first floor and second floor of the High School and the ground floor of the Preparatory School are glued into the volume.

 

A copy of the Report of the Building Sub - Committee and plans of the new buildings are also glued into the volume, November 1878 - March 1882 Building Committee.

Letters will be sent to parents notifying them of an outbreak of scarlet fever in the Preparatory School.

A letter to a parent from Miss Whitlock notifying the parent of the outbreak of scarlet fever;

A printed leaflet from Miss Whitlock requiring the pupils in the Preparatory Department to bring of a letter to the school from a parent or doctor certifying that the pupil has not been ill since Easter and mentioning the dangers of scarlet fever.
